Camdeboo Morning | 2023

This series came about after taking numerous photographs early one morning while homeward bound from Nieu-Bethesda. At the time I was working on a different series but couldn’t wait to start painting them as soon as I got home. So in that way it was a bit of a side-quest from the pedestrian series. An ode to the Karoo and bright pink and orange mornings. 6AM on that stretch of road between Nieu-Bethesda and Graaf Reinet.
