In Between | 2024

'In Between' is a series of paintings that, to me, is about reconsolidating memories of a place. I made these paintings after moving away from the city I lived in for many years. It's a mix of nostalgia and unfinished business. There are still so many places and scenes in Cape Town I want to capture … but with the pre-occupation of a new town to explore, I feel I’ll be stuck ‘In Between’ for some time to come still.
